Stock Samples
Stock samples are existing samples used to demonstrate materials, surface finishes, and general manufacturing quality.
They are typically suitable for:
- Initial supplier evaluation
- Material and finish reference
- Internal review or comparison
Cost:
- Sample cost: No charge (for selected stock samples)
- Shipping: Paid by the customer
Availability of stock samples depends on current sample inventory.
Custom Samples
Custom samples are produced specifically for your project based on your requirements, drawings, or application needs.
They are recommended when:
- Project-specific dimensions or designs need verification
- Installation or fit testing is required
- Internal approval requires a representative prototype
Cost:
- Standard custom sample fee: USD 100
- For highly complex projects, additional tooling or engineering costs may apply and will be quoted separately before production
For custom sample costs exceeding USD 500, the full sample fee can be credited toward a future production order with a total order value of USD 3,000 or more.
Choosing the Right Sample Option
Different project stages require different levels of evaluation:
- Early evaluation stage: Stock samples are often sufficient
- Project validation stage: Custom samples provide higher accuracy
- Pre-production approval: Custom samples are typically required
